Proposed guildbank rules

Post by Gast on Tue Mar 25, 2008 4:50 pm

1) No member shall withdraw more than 1 stack or 1 item, per day, without first getting permission from an officer.
2) All members should donate either gold or items, daily. Above level 50, you're expected to donate at least 1g daily. I mean, lets face it, if you cant grind 1g in a matter of seconds at level 50+, why are you playing?
3) No grey crap to be deposited. Sell it to the vendors instead. I mean, the guild bank is not a garbage container!
4) No, the guild bank won't give you the 2k+ for a flying mount, unless otherwise approved by the officers.
5) People being greedy (for example Sinner withdrawing all 4 netherweve bags today), will be demoted. If they persistently do this, they will be denied access to the bank entirely.
6) People under level 20 should not be given access to the bank at all (theres a reason for this, explained later).
7) Officers may withdraw multiple items to combine them, and deposit them back. This is to save room. For example, 2 stacks of runecloth, 10 each, can be combined into 1 stack of 20.
Cool You should only ever withdraw items you actually need, and can use. Officers may withdraw items to pass on to lower ranking guildmembers, providing that member needs and can use said item.

Reason for item 6:

A few enterprising people have found a bug where then can withdraw ALL items and gold, even when they would normally be denied access to the gold or a specific tab. They have been going around, making level 1 characters, joining guilds, robbing the bank, mailing their gains to their main, then deleting the character to make the transaction untraceable. By denying a lowby access to the bank entirely, we mitigrate this risk somewhat.

Discuss.

great rulez allan...i think they should all be applied!
about the rule 6...since now we inv into the guild ppl lvl 30+ and we promote them after 2 weeks of joining...there isnt any problem about that...well...there might be a problem about their alts...thats why i think we should promote the alts to be the same rank as their main after they are lvl 21+ this way we should avoid any problems
...btw i withdrew alot of items and deposited back just to make some order in the banck cuz everything was messy...is there a way to rename the tabs from tab1, tab2 to Armour and Weps tab, Potion tab..etc?

when the ppl STEAL our money and items, cuz many are to greedy.

and i cant share ur naive optimism bonnez, sry if it sounds mean Very Happy

but doesnt matter if lvl 30, 50 or 1...

we dont know the most of the ppl, and we cant watch everyone...

On the one hand it may be a good idea but on the other... for example: Wana go to ssc and i need some netervave clothes for bandages and some ammo, the whole ride is sitting on my ass saying 'faster, c'mon, let's start' and i cant becouse i must go buy some ammo or grind some nether...

i guess WE arent the prob and the one who should get restrictions...

we fill the bank, and we could manage to give out items to guildies with no
acces, if they need something.

i dont use the bank that much anyway^^

Just one thing...users who cant draw/deposit items to bank can they just see it ? i think when someone see medium leather and cant draw it he will ask officer/commander and talk about it...later he can/cant get it...simply...or i am wrong ?

It doesn't work that way for me, I can't see anything that's in the bank.

Is it possible to set the amount of items withdrawable in 24hrs? Because we can have it like...

lvl 20 - 0 items per 24hrs (that way they can only SEE the items)
lvl 30 - 1 item per 24hrs
lvl 40 - 2 items per 24hrs
lvl 50 - 3 items per 24hrs
lvl 60 - 5 items per 24hrs
lvl 70 - 8 items per 24hrs

*These values are subjected to change at any time... but you can create special ranks and assign each rank a limit as to how much they can withdraw....

True... but you might have a friend from another private server you were on with and you managed to convince your friend to come here. If you know that he is a good player and loyal, level shouldn't matter at the point in time. The word of a guildie must be trusted... so if you know even a lvl 1 and he's your friend and you can vouch for him, I dont see why that should be a problem.

Just remember... you can always kick them. Because I know a lot of lvl 13's and 15's that are good and have potential... but by the time they reach lvl 30, they get sucked up into another guild. Not much people make lvl 30 and are freelancers. That's why the guild is growing even slower.

Maybe Delta could post his views on this.

the level 30 restriction is new.
ofc now the server is growing, and so we have a lot of NEW low levels on the server.
but before the inv cap we had only low levels and no higher leveles. at least it was very unequal...

we should focus on getting our guildies to a higher level, and raid with them- support them.

itīs too much, if you get every day 1-2 new lows...
u wont have an overlook anymore.

and u dont know the people, since every day 2 new join the guild.

in my opinion we should know each other, and that wonīt be, if thereīs a flood of new guildmembers...
