My Views and opinions...
I've bgeen part of Gothic Grunts for about 3 months now, and despite the ups and downs... I love it. But as with everything you love, sooner or later you get used to it and problems start to arise. The main problem I'm having so far is the scuffles and disagreement in the guild. (Note I did not use the word "fight" because these are trivial disagreements)...
Some of these scuffles include forum activity and the guild bank issue. While I do agree that you must be a registered poster on the forums, I disagree with the fact that you must be a regular poster to have access to the guild bank. I believe (once again, my opinion) that guild bank access should be based on your activity in-game. Simply because any newcommer can come to the forum and spam 100 posts and get access to the guild bank. This is pointless.
personally speaking, access to the guild bank doesn't really affect me as much as it would others, simply because I'm one of the few who put in more than he takes out, and this is because the guild bank is usually filled with shit. Yes I said it, shit. People who have been given guild bank access for simply being active on the forums, are removing good stuff from the bank and replacing it with grey-garbage items and flodding the back with such useless shit. eg. A certain someone withdrew 10 black pearls that I deposited and replaced it with 2 Boar Intestines... WTF do I do with boar intestines?
And this brings me to my second point... the Alt-problem. Characters who have access to the guild bank also have their alts with access to the guild bank. These alts are usually low level and what happens is that they empty the guild bank of all items needed by the other low levels who have only one character (like myself) just to power level their alt. Why should this be a problem? Simply because you cannot play with more than one character at the same time, and by you having two or more characters with access to the guild bank and withdrawing all the reagents (like leather, bolts, essences, etc.) to power-level your alt's craft, you are in fact being selfish. I say that it shiould be limited to one character access to the guildbank per account. If you see something in the guildbank you want for your alt, come on your main and take it and mail it... it's in the bank so it's not soulbounded and can be mailed freely.
Thirdly is instancing. maybe I'm the strange type, but I notice that a lot of low-levels (alts as well as newcommers) are asking the high-levels to rush instances for them... I prefer to work for my loot. because what happens is that they dont learn the skills needed to be a good raider later on in further instances. You're supposed to learn the basics from small and expand on them. How are you gonna do that with a lvl 70 rushing you through an instance that was designed for a "youth-group"...
And this type of action causes even more problems further on... and I'll explain. A lvl 18 gets rushed through WC with a lvl 70 and gets a full set of The Fang and all the phat blue loot. Now he's happy, he no longer has need to go instancing again until he's lvl 35... what's gonna happen to the others who are not in a guild and trying to form a group to do WC? They are one man short because that guy was ini-rushed. And so he doesn't know about forming tactics and such. Not to mention, if he had gone instancing with his level range instead of rushing with a high-level, the people he partied with may like his style and see how good Gothic Grunts really is, and so they'll want to join... think I'm lying? Ask Castaway, Ravenn, Kancer and Moonbeam (At least I think it was Moonbeam, can't remember now). I went instancing with them, they liked my company and my style... and so I managed to get them into the guild.
If I had gotten rushed by a high-level (which I constantly refused even when they offered) I would never have met them, and Castaway would have still been in Epic's guild and maybe the same can be said for the others.
All in all, this power-levelling / ini-rushing for the low-levels has to stop.
And lastly is the selfishness... there are about 11 people in the entire guild (and I wont call names) who I notice are REAL 100% HELPERS... they would stop whatever they are doing to help others, either get directions, reagents or instancing. The majority, however, only do stuff for their benefits. eg. I witnessed once that someone was trying to get a group to go LBRS and no one wanted to go because according to one or two of the replies "sorry man, there's nothing there for me" ... WTF is the point of being in a guild when you can't rely on your own to help you. Now this is NOT the same as ini-rushing... This guys was lvl 55+ and the person that responded was around lvl 65. Also, when doing instancing, I notice that it is mostly to kill one or two bosses that the instance-leader wants to kill. I say if you go instancing, kill everything, it shows charisma, plus you can never tell what will drop.
So all-in-all my points are:
1) Limit the Guild Bank access to one character per account
2) Judge Guildbank access by game activity... dont only base it on forum activity
3) No-ini rushing... let them do it for themselves (at least the new-commers)
4) Provide assistance for your peers even if it seems like bullshit to you (NOT the same as ini-rushing)
5) No boss selection when instancing... kill everything that moves (after all, that's true Horde mentality)
*NB... there's a 80% drop chance that I'll be flamed, demoted or kicked from the guild for this type of post. it's happened to me before, and I know it will happen to me again. But I can't stand aside and bite my tongue anymore. PLUS YOU guys were the one that told me "if you have any problems post it" .... This is a problem, and that was my post.

Re: My Views and opinions...
Wooow, now thats what i call a post!! i agree with all the things Druidette said...well the gbanck limitation is good in theory...but it can get annoyng as Delta said switching chars so manny times...hmm but then again that wouldnt be so often cuz everyone plays with 1 char more time and with hes alt less...thats why its an alt
the guild forum registration thing is 1 of the things required to get a promotion...it isnt the only thing.
Hehe about the ini rushing i agree with it so much...cuz im tired to see online for eg. 5 lvl 40+ players and 1 of them whisp me to rush him thru a lvl 40 ini...and he dosent even tries to to see if the other guidies (same lvl as he) are available for the ini!

Re: My Views and opinions...
As for the guild bank access, my idea is that all chars of commanders/generals has it, and it should be much bigger then others (i meant the withdraw possibility). Members who's main chars are sergeants, helpers and specialists would have access only with their first chars and if they want something for their alts, they ask an officer for it.
Killing all bosses - i would leave it to party members, if they all doesn't want to kill the boss, whats the point.. But ofc i agree that there should be some kind of democracy, it can't be like you said, that only group leader chooses bosses to kill... if one member want to kill a guy, all should help him.
Ini rushing... well, what can I say, you are absolutely right, but some times there's a situation than a player did ini 1k times and he never got that 1 item... i would help him than.
0_o you can't expect that ppl will leave all they are doing to help others.. I have some commitments (I'm sure others too) and sometimes people must wait, or accept that the help wont come that day..
About promoting, Bonnez made a good point.

acces to bank
...i belive that we should limited the bank acces not only by rank ,acctivity ..we should limited by level to all players under 30 lvl mush have resticted access to good stuff.... and the guild bank should be arange by items lvl THAT IS THE FIST TING WE SHOUL DO MANY LOW LEVEL TAKE ITEMS THAT THEY DON'T USE AND WHAT TH E POINT OF DOING THAT...
..about helping ppl in instance a good idea but if it is need help we should give it to our mates ..(like drumla said) even it is easy for biger lvl for the low level it is a dream come true (Let's make some ppl happy!!The game must be fun)...BUT WHEN WE HELP LOWER LVL CAN W TRY TO EXPLAIN THEM OUR TACTICS AND OUR PRIORITY SOW THEY CAN LEARN TO AND MOST IMPORTANT HOW TO HANDEL O GRUP OR A RAID .....AND FOR THE LAST BE NICE AND ENJOI IT ......
P.S. Thanks all ppl that help me in in when i needed , and keep up the good work guys

I couldn't agree more... BUT I dont think it would be possible to restrict people to certain tabs in the bank. If, however, that can be done, then that would be the best approach concerning the guild bank issue.
ALSO, I've noticed something, but I may need a solution to this... I notice that some people who use the guild bank take items on greed with no consideration. eg. If there is a stack of Black Pearls and only 3 is needed, a good approach would be to take the stack of 10, split it and take 3 and put the other 7 back... but I dont see that happening. People take the stack of 10 and that's it, it vanishes off the map.

I'm guessing a lot of you guys misunderstood what I meant about instance rushing, maybe I should have made myself clearer. What I meant was that higher levels should not rush to help lower levels just because they asked. Of course help should be given, but only if it's the last option. If they REALLY need to do the instance and CANNOT find other people to make a group, then help should be given. Not if they just ask the high-level without even trying to form a group first.
Re: My Views and opinions...
druidette's ponit of view is incredibly right. but i still wonder if the things written there would stop. delta is making new rules, that is a good thing. but instance rushing and bank "robbery" wont stop that easy. ill try and help more, but at my level i need more help than i give, so im sorry if ive done smtngh wrong, im doing my best, and correct me if im wrong

I'm speechless, Druidette... You have great opinions which really should be listened to... I can't see why there are so many treating you like shit, you deserve respect as well as your higher rank, and you shouldn't have to stand there every day being flamed by some fucking incompetent assholes who probably doesn't even know of the game-existence of Onyxia. I don't know what to say more than: /Cheer, you are really one of the better players in this game, no doubt. Keep it up, don't let those fuckheads reach your nerves, only put them on ignore or something, you deserve respect, and respect you shalt get from the ones who knows what respect is and how it's earned.
EDIT DRUMLA: I get your point, but insulting other members wont do anything good, just for future notice.
EDIT JIMBO : agree
